Reni port is located on 124 km of the left bank of the Danube River, 7 km from the border with Moldova and 10 km from the border with Romania. The port is capable of accepting sea and river vessels with a useful capacity of up to 10,000 tons, the maximum draft of a vessel in the port is limited by the passage depth of the Sulina Channel connecting the Danube and the Black Sea – 7.1 m. Vessels loading/discharging rate, depending on the type of cargo, ranges from 500 to 3000 tons per day. Unique specialized terminal for transshipment of mineral fertilizers with access to the Danube and the Black Sea
The terminal is one of the most functional and flexible solutions in the mineral fertilizer logistics chain of Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Location in the port of Reni allows full range of import, export and transit operations with bulk and packed cargo in all directions possible. Through the terminal, manufacturers and traders can ensure transport accessibility of their products to all ports of the Danube River Basin, seaports of the Black, Mediterranean and other seas, Ukraine, Moldova, CIS countries using railway and road connections.
The terminal is located directly at berths No. 2-4 on the territory of the first cargo area of the port of Reni. Integrated conveyor equipment is installed at the covered terminal, which allows loading / unloading mineral fertilizers from all types of transport, packaging them in 25-50 kg bags or big bags, mixing dry fertilizer mixtures in specified proportions on high-precision automated equipment of Dutch production. After transshipment and processing at the terminal, the products are sent by river, sea, rail or road transport to the final recipient.
The total area of warehouses is more than 10,000 m2, which allows you to receive up to 2,000 tons of bulk and up to 10,000 tons of packed cargo.
In addition to mineral fertilizers, the terminal can also handle dry bulk non-food cargo, such as granular polyethylene, polypropylene, caprolactam and others.
Complex for transshipment of liquid petroleum products, liquid chemicals and liquefied petroleum gases (LPG)
The terminal is located at berths No. 15-16 of the second cargo area of the port of Reni (total area of about 20,000 m2). The complex can handle liquefied hydrocarbon gases: propane, butane, propane-butane mixtures, propylene, pentane, isopentane, isobutane, C3-C4 fractions, as well as liquid and liquefied cargo such as vinyl chloride, ammonia, acrylonitrile, methanol, light oil products, mineral oils and other liquid chemical products as a direct mode using a railway loading-discharging rack for 12 railway tank cars to river and sea vessels, as well as in the opposite direction, from vessels to the shore. Projected transshipment capacity of the complex is about 30,000 tons per month.
In addition, it is possible to use leased storage tanks for petroleum products (diesel fuel, pyrolysis gasoline, etc.) with a volume of up to 8000 m3, which can receive the product from a sea or river vessels and load it onto a ship or motor vehicle.
It is worth noting that with access to the facilities of the port of Reni, our company has the ability to organize transshipment of goods not mentioned above, among them: coal, ores, packaged and general cargo, Ro-Ro (rolling) cargo, grain and food products, wood and timber products, metals (ferrous and non-ferrous) and metal products, ferroalloys, ethyl alcohol, wine and other bulk cargo.
